Payroll Specialist & Client Service Manager

Sheila joined Keen & Company in 2022, originally coming on board as a bookkeeper. Her natural attention to detail and interest in payroll quickly led her to expand her expertise, and she now plays an important role in managing payroll and bookkeeping services for multiple clients.

Sheila is responsible for running payrolls, maintaining accurate employee records, processing payroll adjustments, and ensuring each client’s payroll needs are handled efficiently and accurately. She also provides ongoing bookkeeping services, helping clients keep their financial records organized and up to date.

Before joining Keen & Company, Sheila gained several years of customer service experience across various utility industries including complex billing and Technical Support, she also worked as an Accounts Payables Clerk for a local car dealership. These experiences helped develop her strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and commitment to providing dependable service to clients.

Sheila is Bill.com Accountant Certified, as well as a QuickBooks Certified Bookkeeper and ProAdvisor. She began pursuing an Associate Degree in Accounting at Eastern Gateway College in Ohio. Although personal circumstances temporarily interrupted her studies she looks forward to returning to school and completing her degree.

Outside of work, Sheila enjoys an active life with her husband and their four children. She and her husband share a passion for PRS long-range shooting competitions, hunting, and frequent travel and camping with their travel trailer for competitions throughout the year. When they aren’t traveling or competing, Sheila enjoys spending time with her family, which includes 2 cats and a bearded dragon.
