Melissa Manley

Controller

As Controller, Melissa leads our bookkeeping and payroll team, helping clients gain confidence through accurate, reliable financial support. She joined the firm as an intern in 2018 and came on full-time in 2019. Over the years, she also gained three years of tax experience, prepared individual and business tax returns, organized large volumes of client receipts, managed e-filings and 1099 processing, and assisted with franchise tax matters. She enjoys creating efficient processes, supporting her team, and helping clients bring clarity and confidence to their finances.

Melissa developed a passion for bookkeeping early in life — she was the treasurer of her local 4-H club at age 12 and later managed the books for her family’s farm. Those experiences sparked a lasting appreciation for organization, problem-solving, and the satisfaction of balancing the details.

She earned her Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Arkansas and is a Certified Bookkeeper through the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. She is also a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and is experienced with Dext.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys hiking, visiting National Parks, traveling, photography, digital art, sewing, and dog-sitting. She loves meeting people who value learning, growth, and continuous improvement.
